The table below summarises the plug types, voltage and frequency of electrical current in both Angola and Morocco.
|Plug Types||C||C, E|
|Frequency of electrical current||50Hz||50Hz|
Angola uses Plug Type C.
In Morocco there's more than one socket type in use.
You will need this adaptor:
Socket Type C
(Angola) to Plug Type E
Morocco also uses Socket Type C, which is used in Angola. If using an appliance that has a Type C Plug in the Type C Sockets of Morocco, you will not need an adaptor.
Check if your appliance is compatible with the voltages used in Morocco
The voltage, 127V, is used in parts of Morocco but not in Angola.
Some appliances are compatible with multiple voltages. To find out if your appliance is one of them, check the appliance label and/or instruction booklet.
Is your appliance compatible with the voltages used in Morocco (127V and 220V)?
If your appliance is not compatible with multiple voltages, and you wish to use it in parts of Morocco where this voltage is present, you will need a transformer to adjust the voltage input when using your appliance in Morocco.
The frequency found in Angola and Morocco is exactly the same (50Hz). Timing devices and appliances that use motors will function as expected under this frequency.
