In Korea, South there's more than one socket type in use.

Korea, South also uses Socket Type C, which is used in Korea, North. If using an appliance that has a Type C Plug in the Type C Sockets of Korea, South, you will not need an adaptor.
The frequency of electrical current found in Korea, North (50Hz) differs to that found in Korea, South (60Hz).
