Guatemala also uses Socket Type G, which is used in Sierra Leone. If using an appliance that has a Type G Plug in the Type G Sockets of Guatemala, you will not need an adaptor.

The frequency of electrical current found in Sierra Leone (50Hz) differs to that found in Guatemala (60Hz).
