The table below summarises the plug types, voltage and frequency of electrical current in both Slovakia and Balearic Islands.
Slovakia | Balearic Islands | |
---|---|---|
Plug Types | C, E | C, F |
Voltage | 230V | 220V |
Frequency of electrical current | 50Hz | 50Hz |
In Slovakia there's more than one plug type in use.
What type of plug does your appliance have?
In Balearic Islands there's more than one socket type in use.
You will need this adaptor:
Socket Type
(Slovakia) to Plug Type F
(Balearic Islands)
Balearic Islands also uses Socket Type C, which is used in Slovakia. If using an appliance that has a Type C Plug in the Type C Sockets of Balearic Islands, you will not need an adaptor.
In Balearic Islands there's more than one socket type in use. You may require more than one adaptor.
Socket Type E
(Slovakia) to Plug Type C
(Balearic Islands)
Socket Type E
(Slovakia) to Plug Type F
(Balearic Islands)
The voltages found in Slovakia (230V) and Balearic Islands (220V) are not exactly the same, but the difference is tolerable, so you should not need a transformer.
The frequency found in Slovakia and Balearic Islands is exactly the same (50Hz). Timing devices and appliances that use motors will function as expected under this frequency.
